Brotherwise Games and Dragonsteel are excited to reveal that the Stormlight™ Roleplaying Game is actually the Cosmere® Roleplaying Game! This unique “living RPG” will expand alongside Brandon Sanderson’s novels, evolving as the Cosmere universe grows. Now live on Kickstarter, it’s time to embark on your Cosmere adventure!

A Complete Cosmere RPG Experience

The Cosmere RPG offers a versatile system designed for standalone stories within the Stormlight™ or Mistborn® settings, or for epic Worldhopper™ campaigns traversing multiple realms. From the outset, Brandon Sanderson and Brotherwise aimed to create a comprehensive RPG that spans the various worlds, tech levels, and magic systems of the Cosmere. Central to the game is the magic of Investiture, allowing players to become Knight Radiants, Mistborns, and potentially Elantrians, Awakeners, or Worldhoppers.

Kickstarter Launch Details

Launching with campaign settings for both Stormlight and Mistborn, the Kickstarter covers every book in these series and will expand with new releases. The Stormlight books are set to ship in September 2025, followed by the Mistborn books in 2026. Each Cosmere RPG game utilizes a cohesive d20-based system featuring innovative mechanics like plot dice, flexible talent trees, skill-based magic, and character-driven rewards.

Exclusive Adventures

The campaign includes two exclusive adventures, crafted in collaboration with Brandon Sanderson and Dan Wells. The Stonewalkers campaign leads into the fifth novel of the Stormlight series, "Wind and Truth." Meanwhile, the Mistborn Legacy adventure spans two eras, weaving between the Final Empire’s dark age and Harmony's Scadrial’s era of technological progress, with a mystery affecting the world's future.

Visit the Kickstarter page now to start your Cosmere journey. This RPG provides all the tools needed to tell your epic story.
