What to Expect from Dragonsteel at C2E2

Here's what we've packed into our cognitive carry-on:

• Shiny new merch (including convention exclusives, more on that below)
• Signed leatherbounds

• Signed AND numbered Bands of Mourning leatherbounds
• Elantris signed pages
• First contact with the Silverlight Travel Guide Certification Challenge

Before we dive too much into the nitty gritty of this event, let’s go over the protocol for signed and signed and numbered leatherbounds! 

We will have five signed AND numbered copies of Bands of Mourning available each day, so fifteen total. For these volumes, you can come to the booth and enter your name into the lottery to win the opportunity to purchase one of these signed and numbered editions of Bands of Mourning. These are our reserved copies we keep for any lost or damaged copies, but now that enough time has passed, we want to give you all the opportunity to get your hands on them at this event. 

We'll have plenty of signed leatherbounds and Secret Project premium editions that will NOT be in the lottery. You can purchase signed books at the booth as usual. Signed books are first come first serve.

If you were at Dragonsteel Nexus 2024, you might’ve seen the Elantris signed pages. Attendees were able to bid on these pages in person at the convention. We have more of these and would like to give you the opportunity to get your hands on this rare collectible item! We’ll have a few more at C2E2. Come by the Dragonsteel booth to learn more.

Welcome to the Silverlight Bureau of Perpendicularity Regulation and Inter-Realmatic Transport—a name that sounds made up but definitely isn’t. This totally official and not-at-all-underfunded organization is responsible for making sure the spirit of tourism remains alive and well in the Cosmere.

This year at C2E2, you can become a Silverlight Certified Travel Guide. It’s fun! It’s free!

Here’s How It Works:

• Pick up your pamphlet at the Dragonsteel booth (Booth #519).
• Embark on your journey across the con floor, completing tasks inspired by your favorite Cosmere planets.
• Return with proof of your travels to claim your official Silverlight Certification and maybe even a prize!

I’m B'Barbra, Multi-Departmental Director of SBPIRT Operations, plus Budget Appeals (Denied), and Most Things That Should Really Be Someone Else’s Job.

I should be halfway to the Purelake right now with a wide sunhat and no thoughts whatsoever. But alas, my boss, Phyl, is “very busy” attending a family reunion on Yolen.

So instead, I’ll be at C2E2, doing recruitment. Not on vacation.

Look, we can’t give you a Shardblade. Risk Management says no. HR says absolutely not. And one time we did and now there's a hole in the breakroom and nobody will talk about it (honestly, I think Phyl did it).

T-Shirts You Can Travel In

The Silverlight Bureau Travel Tees are officially available for your wearing pleasure. All proceeds go to the Silverlight Bureau of Perpendicularity Regulation and Inter-Realmatic Transport stapler fund.
